Sneak Peek at City Art Supply

I’m ridiculously excited about Dana Smith’s latest project, the upcoming opening of City Art Supply at 3215 Cherokee Street.   It’s not officially open for business yet (eta 2-3 weeks?) but will be open for a pre-emptive perusal by the curious on Saturday, September from 7:00PM - 10:00PM during the celebration of Mexican Independence Day on Cherokee Street.  Jeremy Rabus will also host an Open Studio in his adjoining space. “Here and There,” a photography exhibit curated by Justin Visnesky opens at Snowflake - 3156 Cherokee and, while swapping tales of urban camping, er, dwelling, the folks at All Along Press - 3155 Cherokee mentioned plans for their “real” opening shin dig that evening. Other (reputed) Mexican Independence Day Celebration happenings on Cherokee include…
