Contemporary Art Museum Open Studio Tours

Sorry that things have been limited to event postings lately, but writing and linking tends to happen for me in spells, and I’ve been pretty busy.

This weekend the Contemporary Art Museum St Louis hosts it’s third annual Open Studios Weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM - 4PM both days.

My studio, and others in my area, will be open on SUNDAY.

Stop by the Contemporary first to preview participating artist’s work and pick up a map of locations, or preview participating artists via the website here and get your map here.  There is an organized trolley tour on Saturday, led by Chief Curator Anthony Huberman, and bicycle tours both days.  For more tour information, again, check the website at openstudiosonline.org.

And finally, on Sunday, there’s a starving artist BBQ from 4PM - 8PM in the courtyard of the Contemporary.  Participating, and presumably starving, artists eat free, otherwise the cost is $15.
