Rest in Peace Mark Pollman

I must admit that I had misty eyes this morning when I discovered in my inbox an email from Mark’s address, written by a friend, saying, “Mark’s spirit escaped the confines of his physical form late this afternoon. Be on the lookout for this free spirit, as it is known to have affected a multitude of welcoming hosts already!”

I’ve missed visiting the legendary bartender at The Fox and the Hound these past couple of years, and he will no doubt now be sorely missed by his many friends and fans. I have many wonderful memories of sales & marketing debates over Scotch, and also of his kindness, wit, trivia goldmine, and interesting emails.

Mark had cancer, and according to the RFT, due to other medical complications, was admitted to the ICU last Sunday. A forum has been set up for friends of Mark to celebrate his colorful life.
