I hear that Fred Friction has a new venue, Fred’s Six Feet Under, at Iron Barley (entrance on Compton.) Currently open Friday and Saturday nights, with Thursdays to come.

Smexting v. Texting while smoking, often outside a bar. The phenomenon is being spurred by smoking bans, most recently in the UK. The British mobile carrier Orange reported a surge in texting when the ban went into effect, but the company claims that people were smexting friends who might help them to quit. What are they smoking?”

This may become important to know as the Smoke Free St. Louis City thing now has a Facebook Group, MySpace page, and website. Well… sorta. Not that I’m condoning a Smoke Free StL either, mind you.

NaNoWriMo has kicked off for this year, and thus noveling bloggers all over the Internets have warned us of their impending silence. However, Courtney, among others, have committed to NaBloPoMo.
