$1 Burger Night - Score!

Score 3 extra points for national chain Bar Louie, which now has locations in both CWE and Kirkwood. First up, their entire menu is available late night. On top of that, it seems Tuesday is $1 burger night!

Yep. A quarter pound burger on a bun with lettuce is just $1. A wide variety of extras like cheese, bacon, guacamole, or hot peppers are available for an additional 50 cents each. Add a basket of fries or tater tots for $1.99 and you’ve got yourself a meal for under 5 bucks.

The service also gets points. Unfortunately, our tater tots didn’t show up, so eventually we canceled the order. However, the bartender offered us each a complimentary shot in apology.

Update:
Just updated to say that verbalizing- or even writing- “tater tots” is providing me with a lot of amusement. I mean, tater tots are awesome, very yummy, but when I say it out loud as a grown-up, I get this very odd expression on my face because I’m wanting to laugh every time. Try it. Come on, say tater tots. Tater tots. See? It’s really funny.
